In 2019 National Rifle League acquired the Border War Rifle Series (NRLBW) to help grow precision rifle competitions throughout the different regions of the US. The NRLBW in the most basic terms is a organization to help each region with marketing, media, and administrative support to those regions and match directors. Each region is self governed by its elected Regional Director (RD), that RD is responsible for the organization of their respective region, including rules, regulations, matches, and working with the NRLBW to ensure everything is running smoothly.
At the end of the year if there are more than 2 regions participating in the series the NRLBW will hold a national level match between each region to declare which region has the best shooters in the nation.
